My daughter is in the 6th grade i am inviting the entire 5th and 6th grade class, i am sending the invites through their book bags at school. Her party will be on October 27. i don’t want to send the invites too early then everyone forgets (children’s attention span is so short), but not to late where people don’t have time to prepare.
WHEN should i send the invitations home?
wow, reading way too much into this bookbag thing, sorry, but its not that serious…. my children and i attend a small private school (only about 15 to a class), all the kids have pretty much been going there since preschool, most of the parents know each other really well, almost like family, and that is how ‘we’ have always sent invites. there are a couple of new kids that i will personally invite w/parents, just because they don’t know me yet, and want them to feel comfortable. just wanted to know when to send out…thanks
…and i never said that I would be personally going through all these kids book bags, i just said sending via book bag, teachers have always been great about helping me.

When my son was in PreK and through 1-3 grade, he had birthday invitations every month, but for some reason this year he is not getting any invitations. Is this normal?
Do you do children’s birthday parties? For kids 10&up?
What’s the difference from younger children’s party?
If you are teenagers, tell me about the parties your parents planned for you. What do you think a new ten year old would like? What kind of party? What kind of activities? I’m planning to do it at home in my apartment so I don’t have much space. Please think of some really cool ideas.
Thanks in advance.

I mean, to me, it seems to be a ridiculous policy for a school to have, would you do anything if you were me? I’m thinking about handing invitations out to the parents after school as they pick up their kids, but the school told me that I couldn’t do that either, what do you think? Should I do it anyhow?

I belong to a parenting group and My friend and I are having a 4th birthday party for my son and her daughter who were only a few days ago. Anyway, we have a lot of the same friends and we are doing an airline themed party with boarding passes as invitations.
The invitations are going to have an AA on them (like American Airlines) because their names both begin with "A". Should we make out seperate invitations for our son and her daughter or should we mail them out together. Should we let everyone know that it is a party for 2 kids? Do you think that is important?

My son is turning 7 this year and is in 1st grade. The school does not allow the kids to bring invitations for parties and birthdays to school to hand out. How am I supposed to invite my son’s friends from school to his birthday if I have no way of contacting them other then him bringing the invitaions to school. We live in a very rural community and I do not know most of the kids parents.
